Purpose:
The College of Engineering seeks to foster increased faculty and student involvement in creative activities in research and education. The Celebration of Scholarship Day will showcase faculty and student creative efforts, promote collaborations internally and externally, develop and showcase USF Office of Research and FHTC opportunities, and highlight COE activities as a vibrant part of the greater USF community.

- 8 AM to 10 AM setup of Posters by Faculty and Students.
- 10 AM to 12 Noon, Introduction of Honored Guests, Faculty and Student talks, Recognition Awards
(12 -1 PM Lunch on your own)
- 1PM-3PM Focus Sessions for Students Interested in Graduate School, Current Grad Student Requirements and Undergraduate Research Opportunities
Presented by Graduate Coordinators/Dept Chairs and Industry Representatives, Additional Recognition Awards, Q & A
- 12-4PM Poster Presentations by Faculty and Students

Special Events:
A symposium session will be conducted with distinguished speakers as well as selected faculty and students from the College of Engineering and the greater USF community.
Efforts to expand undergraduate research by faculty and students will be promoted. A symposium on BS/MS programmatic efforts will also be conducted.
COE Recognition Awards: Faculty and Student Awards
USF College of Engineering Ambassadors during the event will be drawn from Sponsoring Student Societies
Submission of a One-Page Summary to the Proceedings of USF Engineering Celebration of Scholarship Day
is DUE March 27, 2007. Submissions can be done electronically at: scholarship@eng.usf.edu
